Privacy: the waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we keep as little as we can, for one reason: to email you when Inkglish opens.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- The day you joined.
- Which link brought you, if it says, for example YouTube or Instagram.
Nothing else: not your name, not your IP address. The waitlist page sets no cookies and has no tracking or advertising.
Why
To send you one email when Inkglish opens. We use your email only because you asked us to (your consent). We never sell it or use it for advertising.
Where it is kept, and who sees it
In our database at Railway, our hosting provider, on servers in Singapore. When Inkglish opens, the opening email is sent through an email service, which receives your address only to deliver it. No one else sees it.
How long
Until you leave the list, or at the latest 6 months after Inkglish opens. Then we delete it, unless you have made an account.
Your choices
- Leave the list at any time: use the link in our email, or write to us.
- Ask what we keep about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: write to us and we will answer within 30 days.
- If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
